Under advice from Counsel to the Ward Commission for Montclair and Newark, we are canceling the meeting scheduled for today. At this time, no action will be taken and the map adopted on 1/12/22 for the Township of Montclair and the City of Newark will stand.

As a result of the 2022 New Jersey Congressional Redistricting plan, it is necessary for the Newark Municipal Ward Commission to reconvene to adjust ward boundaries within the City of Newark. This meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. The meeting is being held by Zoom. Please call the Board of Elections at (973) 621 5074 for additional information. The public will have an opportunity to comment. Formal action may be taken.
